Abstract:
Re-tearing is the main complications after rotator cuff repair and severely affects the effects of the operation. There are many factors that can affect the re-tear after repair, including the preoperative age, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, duration years of symptom, tear size, rotator cuff fat infiltration and retraction, the choice of suture technique, whether to use biological agents, postoperative rehabilitation exercise and other related factors. The literatures about the factors affecting rotator cuff re-tear after rotator cuff repair were reviewed and analyzed in this article to provide a reference for treatment of rotator cuff tear.
